Born from a shared dream between Anilú, a passionate food engineer, and Diego, a talented Peruvian chef, Pakakuna was created to celebrate the soul of Peruvian cuisine in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
After years working in renowned hotels in Lima and Urubamba, they decided to follow their hearts and open a cozy space surrounded by fruit trees — a place where good food, nature, and people could connect.

When the pandemic hit, Pakakuna reinvented itself, bringing its flavors to homes and later reopening with a renewed purpose: to offer healthy, sustainable Peruvian fusion cuisine that respects the environment and celebrates local ingredients.

Today, Pakakuna is more than a restaurant — it’s a community where every dish tells a story of resilience, creativity, and love for Peru
